Decoding C3 Corvette RPO / Option Codes

top

Type the RPO codes from your Corvette's window sticker, build sheet or trim tag (1968–1982). The decoder tells you what each option is, how many were built and the original retail price.

Separate codes with spaces or commas. Pick the model year for an exact match — the same code can mean different things in different years.

What is an RPO code?

An RPO (Regular Production Option) code is the 3-character code Chevrolet used to identify every factory option — engines, transmissions, axle ratios, paint and trim, and comfort or convenience equipment. On a C3 Corvette you'll find these codes on the original window sticker, the dealer order/build sheet, and partly encoded in the trim tag. Decoding them tells you exactly how your Corvette left the St. Louis or Bowling Green plant.

Want the complete option list for a year, side by side? See the full equipment, prices & production figures page. To decode the car's serial number instead, use the VIN decoder.
